‘A Farewell to Kings’ Original Screenplay (2024)
A Farewell to Kings is a crime-drama set in Fort McMurray, Alberta in the weeks leading up to the historic 2016 wildfire. The script follows two friends, Michael and Hari, who, in their early teens, join a street gang called the Northland Kings. Years later, as the gang faces an existential threat, the boys hatch a daring plan to steal valuable equipment from a nearby oilfield.
Written as part of my MFA in Scriptwriting, this is the longest film script I have written to date, and one I am immensely proud of.
‘Sorry Kid’ Original Screenplay & OST (2022)
As humankind anticipates the split-second destruction of the universe, the lives of two ambitious rappers become entangled with a nihilistic drifter aimlessly killing time. Over the course of one lonely summer night, they embark on a surreal journey of self-discovery that defies space and time.
This is a feature-length dark comedy screenplay, and an accompaning original soundtrack of seven ambient songs, that together comprised my thesis project for my final year of Film & Media at Queen's University.
